Living with an ostomy can be challenging and difficult. In addition to the products of managing your ostomy, attitude and perspective are important tools that are often overlooked. During Kipp’s three cancer journeys, he found joy in the most improbable places and has now written a book documenting those moments that surfaced because of his intention to look. Kipp speaks about his experience and determination to find joy in the most unlikely places.
After listening to his story, ostomates will move ahead with new-found hope. Life is a collection of experiences and the “bad” can sometimes be the place where joy is found — if you cultivate an intention to see it!
