This sweet little ostomy teddy bear project was started by the Ostomy Support Group of North San Diego County to give comfort to people who undergo ostomy surgeries in the San Diego area. The project started with 8 ostomy teddy bears and quickly grew to thousands of bears gifted through 22 hospitals across the United States and shipped to Ostomates all over the world.
